Terms of Service for Grape

Grape is a personal wine cellar management app for iOS, developed and operated by Felix Grønlund Pedersen, based in Denmark ("we", "us", "our").

By creating a Grape account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Grape. These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, available at https://grapeapp.dk/privacy

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Grape. Because Grape helps you manage a collection of alcoholic beverages, the app is not available to anyone under 18. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up, including a valid email address and your date of birth. You may delete your account at any time from within the app; doing so removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Grape lets you record and manage wines, scan labels, log tastings and consumption, receive AI-generated wine descriptions and pairing suggestions, and share collections with people you invite.

When you share a collection, or join one, other members of that collection can see the wines and related data in it. Only share collections with people you trust.

You agree not to:

• Use Grape for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms
• Attempt to access data or collections you have not been granted access to
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to circumvent its security or usage limits
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Grape offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Plus and Pro). A free trial of paid features may be offered to new users; unless you choose a paid plan, your account continues on the free tier when the trial ends. Nothing is charged during the trial.

Paid subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store using your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings, not within Grape.

Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's terms. Refund requests must be made to Apple. Prices are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by region.

Grape uses artificial intelligence to generate wine descriptions, pairing suggestions, and label analysis. This content is provided for general information and enjoyment only. It may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied on as professional advice. Always drink responsibly.

We aim to keep Grape available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update or discontinue the app. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data, but you are encouraged to use the app's export feature to keep your own copy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grape is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, or for loss of data beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law, including liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will make the updated terms available in the app or on our website. Continued use of Grape after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
